by: sororityFor all the rumors going around about a new chapter: I have heard from many people that the new chapter will be Phi Mu. TCU 360 has an old article from 2011 stating that two new chapters were coming to TCU in Fall of 2012 and Fall of 2014. AOPi was obviously chosen for Fall 2012, and the next one must have been Phi Mu for Fall of 2014. You can look at the Phi Mu national website and it says they will be colonizing at TCU. It also states on the Phi Mu wikipedia page that they will be colonizing at TCU in Fall of 2014. I could be wrong, but from the looks of it, it will be Phi Mu. I personally think this is unfair to AOPi to bring a new sorority in so soon after they started though...

Phi Mu is not a good sorority if you look around the country. They're only good at one or two colleges, like Alabama or somewhere. I hope we get a different house that could be desirable to our PNMs.

They are only good at a couple of southern schools but small and weak nationally.

If you go find the old 2011 TCU 360 article, it says that two new houses would be coming to Tcu, and that 4 different sororities presented for the spots. Aopi was one of them and was obviously chosen, the other three were phi mu, alpha gamma delta, and delta phi epsilon. Www.tcu360.com/campus/2011/09/13443.presentations-given-new- sororities

Between these 3 groups - Phi Mu, Alpha Gamma Delta and Delta Phi Epsilon - Phi Mu has the "best" reputation nationally.

1first, that's an old rating and second, the things they based the ranking on were ridiculous - like facebook friends!
