fraternity stereotypes & ranks

Listen up fellas, there is a lot on here on sororities, but this is meant to help you make your decision.

TOP:

Lambda - Has been top house for a few years, although been in a lot of hot water recently and dropped their junior/senior PCs. Mostly from West Coast/California, solid grades.

SigEp - A close second to Lambda, SigEp is a great house. Best overall guys and good events and grades. West Coast.

Pi Kap - Overall good house, although Pi Kap has started to slip and may fall. Solid grades, good events, hit or miss on the guys though.

UPPER MIDDLE:

Kappa Sigma - Rich guys from mostly the South & East Coast, some Texas. Best of the three southern fraternities, has great events and great reputation. Not great grades though.

SAE - Only really give bids to Texas guys who have connections to the chapter and out of state legacies, other than that you won't have any luck here. Good social events though and has a reputation for being wealthy.

Phi Delt - Mix of wealthy guys from Texas and the South. Operate a pretty secretive chapter but they have good social events. Close brotherhood but bad grades.

LOWER MIDDLE:

Sig Nu - Known for great social events, however the guys are pretty hit or miss, with some being super weird. Still relatively new to campus, could possibly be in upper middle soon. Great grades. Pledgeship is a joke.

Sig Chi - Interesting mix of guys, seem to have decent social events but have no presence on campus. Horrible grades.

Beta - Focused on grades, not being social. Seem to only have a few events a semester. Girls regard them very highly though. Could definitely rise in rankings if they held more events and scaled back the emphasis on academics. No pledgeship.

BOTTOM:

FIJI - Not well regarded. Bad history, the new guys seem to have changed direction, although I'd still watch my drink. Draws guys from everywhere, still sometimes has socials with top sororities tho. Mediocre grades, pledgeship is a joke.

Phi Kap - Super irrelevant, has no significant campus or social events. No one knows who they are.

Delt - Aren't well regarded, bad events. Very irrelevant, terrible grades.
