Rush Again Next Year

If they cut you the first time there is a high likelihood that they will cut you again. It is actually harder as a sophomore because freshmen are more desirable. Your best chance is to know members in the house.

Wow that’s a diverse group of houses so they are all going to look for different things. What state are you from? Kappas are a bit more southern, pi phi pulls from Cali, SK pulls from all over. Theta pulls girls that are more driven, ambitious. Theta parties a bit less than some on the list.

They all pull great girls! A few tend to pull girls w a more manicured look. They all pull girls that are not awkward and are social. I suggest you look as put together as you can for rush. Focus on looking the best possible version of yourself and focus on conversations that are genuine. You do not want to fake your conversations just to be in a great house and then find out you are not compatible. I am in one of the sororities on ur list and during rush I picked girls based on personality. I cut girls that were gorgeous and in designer clothes because I just thought they were boring or drama or rude and I kept girls that were pretty and had style (not necessarily in top dollar clothes) but personable. Yay everyone wants beautiful pledges but let’s be honest we also want to like the girls we hang with. If you are going to rush again next year, try and make friends w current sisters. It is easier to get in as a sophomore if a current sophomore recommends you.
