How to get out to top house rush events

So far I've received texts from the bottom 6 houses for events, but I haven't received anything from the top 6 houses.

Is this the same for anyone else?

I'm wondering if I have to reach out to the top houses myself in order to get into events. Or maybe the top houses didn't text me because they didn't like my CampusDirector profile / my picture of me?
