Do juniors do okay going thru recruitment? Just a little nervous.

Yep they do. I’m my house, they didn’t count against quota, so if we liked you, we took you! It was a ‘free’ member who everyone wanted.

For us, a junior didn’t count in our quota, so it was essentially a ‘free’ member. Pretend quota was 10 girls, a junior would make it 11 total, but only the 10 underclass man counted toward our total allowed quota.

What she means, or prob doesn't understand, is that there is a quota for upperclassmen but it is separate from the freshman quota, so upperclassmen don't have to compete for those spots with freshmen. Freshmen are more desirable because they will be here longer, so the separate quotas mean that a junior like you won't be cut just for her year in school. But there is a quota, there are no 'free' bids like K is saying.
