Maybe based on grades and involvement this year this list is accurate. But this doesn't reflect "desirability" in terms of what girls want during rush. As well, whether we like it or not in terms of "popularity" when girls want to be in a house that is known for going out and having huge mixers, there's absolutely no way Gphi and Theta would be above DG and Pi Phi. Again, accurate ranking based on the qualities listed, but doesn't take a lot of other factors into account.

I agree with the rank. Yes, some names are better known than others but every campus is different and this is where groups stand in reality. If you just want to party then put KKG at the top but that doesn't reflect the overall quality. Overall quality this rank is fair. Girls need to know too that our bottom house would be top at most campuses. Our greek community is amazing and all our chapters are outstanding.

I like this post. ALL our houses are superior compared to other schools. I just look at some houses that people I went to HS with and there is NO WAY they would have made the cut for them here. It is kind of crazy to rank our houses because no one will ever agree. Somewhere on this site is a post listing houses by their style. That is more helpful. I think the list was like this:
Party-Delta Gamma, Pi Phi and Zeta
Academic-Chi Omega, Gamma Phi Beta, KATheta
Laid Back-Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Chi Omega, AOPi, Sigma Kappa
Texas (Southern) Tradition-Kappa Kappa Gamma, Tri Delta
As a PNM I found this list more helpful than a rank. I hope this helps you too.

Gamma Phi Beya just won Greek Week and top Panhellinic representive, their last President was our Greek Woman of the Year, they are in the top three in grades...they have a lot of top tier characteristics. No, they don't party like sloppy girls if that is a high quality on your list...it is about what values an incoming girl is looking for. G Phi is top class. I would be proud if this was my house!

I agree with every word this posted said. Most important was the point that all our houses would be the very top at the majority of schools. TCU is now the second hardest university to be accepted to in the state of Texas. More than half of our student body are top achieves from out of state. Average will not cut it in any area here. I think this rank is solid because or top GPA houses are Theta, Chi O and G Phi in that order. Most people would place Zeta as the top social house without question. After that things get a little harder to agree on but Delta Gamma is very close to the top in the social category. You will be among the best here and can't go wrong no matter which house you join. Just GO GREEK
