Not from the South

by: nina

I'm from a town in the East and i'm hoping to rush next fall. Is it harder to get into a sorority at TCU if you're from outside of Texas.

Why do you want to come to TCU? Just curious. Texas is so different than the East coast.

Most of family is actually from the south, I grew up in the east but just from my experience I like the environment much better.

Sorority rush is much more competitive down south. The girls are so concerned with looks and money, so there are some bottom of the barrel sororities, and girls in those sororities don't feel too good about themselves. It is the harsh, but honest, truth. I am from the East, and I am telling you right now the East coast has better people. Don't say I did not warn you.

Most girls come to tcu not knowing anyone so no matter where you are from you will have an equal shot during recruitment
