spring recruitment

I will be transferring in to TCU after Christmas. Will there be a way to join a house then so I can start as a Freshman?

you can do spring recruitment but not every sorority will participate and it will be all informal so you will not have the same rush experience and will not get the option to join any house

Some houses do hold spring rush but not all. In the spring it is more about who you know. Keep your ear to the ground and if all else fails then rush as a Sophmore. People do every year.

use this year to meet girls to better your chance sophomore year. Trust me its worth it to do the ground work now for next year instead.

There should be numerous opportunities to join houses in the spring just keep listening to find out which houses are open.

There will be some houses that had a spring rush. Spring rush is kept pretty quiet so you really need to know people. It may be hard with you arriving after Christmas, but try to get involved, meet girls and ask about their particular houses. This is your best bet given your situation.

Spring rush here is very low key and quiet. I agree that you will have to meet girls quickly and see if their house has slots open. Spring is complement about who you know.

Spring rush is pretty under the radar. You might check with the chapters before you come. Rumors around say check with Tri Delt, Theta and ADPi. You will have to know somebody to be asked but if you learn the houses you can try to meet the girls from the right groups.

I would go with the earlier advise of getting to know people this year and then go through regular rush next fall. You will have a real advantage that way because you will know girls and form opinions on here from you own experience not just rumors.

Many times the houses that offer spring rush have problems. They aren't as desirable so they want to get members when competition is less or there are internal problems that caused a lot of members to drop so they need new members for quota. Wait until the fall and do things the right way.

If you want the maximum amount of options then wait for fall. Otherwise you need to meet girls ASAP and hope someone will rec you for a good house
