sigma kappa
by: PNMI am from a Northern state and have a Sigma Kappa legacy from both my mom and grandmother; does that mean I will have to be a Sigma Kappa if I come to TCU? Their rank seems like they are not very popular. Is that true and why?

Having a legacy is s great gift but it doesn't require you to choose that house and it isn't a guarantee they will choose you. It promises a invite back to the second day and not much more. Sigma Kappa got a strong class this year and most would say are improving. They are newer than the majority of houses and seem to welcome out of state girls more than some. Definitely give them a chance during recruitment.

Don't discount this chapter. They got a strong pledge class this year and things are beginning to change. They do have a lot of out of state girls. They might be the perfect fit for you. Anyway, a legacy is simply an extra invitation promised for the second day it doesn't promise anyone a bid.

Sigma Kappa is very strong at a lot of schools. Here it is still setting its roots. When you go through rush you don't have to join your legacy house and it isn't a automatic invite either. Be proud of you legacy and see how you feel. They have a nice PC this year and seem to be getting stronger.
