Question about ddd

I know a few DDDs and they seem to be very nice and outgoing. They are a mostly southern sorority/a lot of members seem to come from the hometowns.

I think a lot of the GreekRank comments has do with a (I’m assuming it’s a former) member that was arrested on campus. However, this was one girl, who is probably no longer associated with the sorority, and does not represent the sorority as a whole.

If the people you know are ddd and you already know they aren’t top (I’m telling you they aren’t rn they are completely irrelevant at TCU) try to go something else. It might not end up that way but at least try bc it’s not a good place to be. I’m a Tri delt and I went Tri delt bc that’s what all the girls I knew were too, I really regret it. There’s no sisterhood and it’s just like doing the same thing over again. Not to say that’s BAD, it just gets old and it’s very superficial. They are snobby but I find it weird bc pi phi and dg are just as if not more wealthy and they don’t have that attitude at all.

Ddd and sae are the only People That think That ddd is good. So I’m betting ur friend was an sae. Nobody cares about them I forget they exist

Don’t go ddd. Just trust me. They have a rlly bad rep and nobody hangs out w them except kkg. Only difference is ppl actually LIKE kappa. Going Tri delt is social suicide

Here’s the truth. It’s totally half and half. Some of the girls are amazing, like you said, but the other half is the exact opposite of that. Keep an open mind and don’t just follow your friends!! I wish someone had told me that. I’m in a “top” sorority and the only reason I’m there is bc I didn’t rush what everyone I knew was and guess what? We are all still friends but I have had the best experience bc I’ve met new people not just mutual friends! Tri delt is very forgotten, girls don’t really tend to like them and guys prefer other sororities over them w the exception of sae who is exclusive to Tri delt. If this matters to you, keep that in mind. Tri delts number 1 thing they are known for is putting an amazing show on for rush and then you will never see them again for the rest of the year, so also keep this in mind and don’t be fooled. It’s also not wise to judge how good a chapter is off of their insta. For example kappa at bama is top tier but their insta isn’t as good as some of the lower ones is! The truth is that ddd is just kind of THERE if you know what I mean and nobody hangs out with them, they don’t go to any parties w anyone except themselves, and they aren’t involved on campus or in their philanthropy except for “delta pancakes” once a year. If those things don’t matter to you, great go Tri delt! But if they do I’d suggest looking elsewhere
