trying to decide

I go to TCU but I'm in another house. I can honestly say that they are a great house with smart girls (they are top 3 in grades) who are really sweet and pretty. They definitely do not go out as much as some of the other houses though.

THeta is very respected here but is primarily known to be the "smart girls" and that's about it. Not sure what you're going for but if you're very social and like more of the going out scene it mighttt not be this chapter. But like I said, no one here really has anything very bad to say about theta at all.

You'd need to fit in and they are hard to get into. So no matter how much of a legacy you are, you won't get a bid if you don't fit it. So don't come here counting on it.

I'm not a theta, but 2 of my best friends are thetas. Theta's have the rep for being smart, but they also have a lot of girls that love to have fun and go out. They're have a perfect mix of all kinds of girls. You will most definitely find girls like you and make best friends.

Theta is a very respected house at TCU. They are very strong academically and have a strong sisterhood. Even with all your legacies you are not guaranteed a bid though so don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Theta is one of our best houses. I couldn't suggest placing your entire college choice on a house though...and even with such a strong legacy no one can be assured of a bid no matter what school you attend.

Theta is a wonderful house full of girls that are high achieving and have high class attitudes. It is very well thought of. Even with a very strong legacy recruitment is so competitive that you can't be sure you will be offered a bid. You would need to be open to the idea of other houses. Chi O and Gamma Phi Beta are the most similar to Theta as far as their academics and activities are concerned.

Theta is a great house. I don't know anyway someone could have something truthful that was negative to say about them. Like post above states though you can't be assured of a bid. The houses that are most similar are Gamma Phi and Chi O. All are well respected...Chi O has such a dirty rush system don't count on them either. Gamma Phi and Theta are nice matches and well liked. Good luck at TCU and with recruitment.

Even with all those legacies you are not guaranteed a bid from
Theta. The are always one of the top in grades and normally don't go out as much as most houses. Academics reign with these ladies.

Theta is a very respected house. Lots of smart, classy ladies with a good reputation.
