how are big/littles chosen?

How does it work? Does every big choose a little that they like or do Little’s choose them? It seems as if some people have already chosen their big/Little’s on bid day and I don’t understand that. Is there a computer process?

depends on the chapter. some do it based on bid day stuff, some go through a meeting process. some chapters care a lot about big little relationships and want to make sure they both get along well while others just kind of pair.
