I agree with the original post too and wish I had know beforehand so recruitment wouldn't have been so stressful. The more houses I visited and the more I returned to the less difference I saw in the ways that matter.

If the "lower" houses are getting big pledge classes doesn't that show you that girls want to go greek, and are willing to look past the "reputations" All the houses will get better if girls show an open mind. Going in any house is better than going in no house, or by trying recruitment a second time. You can always make a "weak" house better by being the amazing person you are. Hopefully by the time you get to college you don't give a damn what people think of you and do what you want. I think it is sad girls are willing to rank on each others houses. I bet there are amazing girls, pretty girls, not so pretty girls in every house. How immature to be mean. If your house is so great, why do you need to put down other houses. You should be going into a sorority to have friends help you find your way around college, and to provide support. Not to make you"cooler" than someone else. If a house doesn't want you because you're not "hot" or whatever, you don't want to go there anyway.

Awesome post full of uplifting truth

It is refreshing to see a truthful and positive post on here. All our houses have great things to offer and people do a real disservice by posting negative things about other houses to bolster their personal insecurity. Going Greek is the best way to become involved and gain deep friendships on our campus.

Hoping girls will listen to this thread for next year. Recruitment was so emotionally charged this year without real reason. Yes, some houses are stronger than others but in the end you can find sisters in any of them and that's the real goal.
