Being a PNM is simultaneously nerve racking and awesome experience!! Each of y'all are close to finding a home with sisters for life!!! One important thing to remember is the house does not define the girls, the girls define the house! Perceptions of sororities change with each pledge class because each year something new is introduced to the mix!! In houses at about 200 girls, every girl going through recruitment should be able to find friends in every house, so wherever you land you will make great friends and still have friends elsewhere! Alphabetically, here are some of the "personalities" of sororities.

Alpha Chi: sweet girls, travel in packs, great Christmas mixer
AOPi: amazing growing chapter full of sweet girls
ADPi: laid back, kind, blend off!!
Chi Omega: very well rounded, good grades, crush party
Delta delta delta: very Texas, united, high energy
Delta Gamma: party, great Halloween mixer
Gamma Phi: grades, sweet girls
Kappa kappa gamma: very Texas, chill, pledge classes bond well
Pi Phi: sorority pride, party, great America mixer
Theta: classy, good grades, country, great victory
Sigma Kappa: sporty, chill, down to earth, great 90s mixer
Zeta: strong support for other Panhellenic philanthropies, sorority pride, awesome Tshirts

PNMs you are about to go through a process where you can only win! Don't feel pressure, wherever you end up you will find great people, lots of things to love, and a few challenges. Here's to a successful 2013 recruitment!!!
