gpa
by: Questionif I’m rushing as a sophomore and my gpa is a 2.25 will any houses take me or give me a chance? Or will I be cut from them all even if I have a good resume and good social skills?

So grades do matter for a good number. Usually the gpa cuts would be first round so once you get past that, you have a good chance, but some will still put that into consideration when making hard cuts. It’s a good rule of thumb to look at what the required gpa for each chapter is as that what they may be going off of for first round, but even if you are below that some houses won’t care. I wouldn’t definitely not say grades don’t matter but once you get through round one you can have a better idea

That’s not true, many other sororities care about gpa and it could be a factor in if you get a bid or not. Having a low GPA like that won’t help you and could be the reason they choose someone else over you in the end.
