do legacies make a difference?

by: legacy

I'm going to be a freshman at TCU this fall and will participate in sorority recruitment. I'm a legacy to Chi O and KKG (my great-grandmother was a chi o and my mom was a kappa). Both are some of my top choices, and I wanted to see what my chances would be of getting a bid? What role does legacy status play alongside things like grades and other resume building stuff?

Your mom is the legacy that will count. If your resume, recs and personality/conversation skills are strong, your legacy will give you an advantage.

Chi O only recognizes legacy from mothers and sisters, so you are not a Chi O legacy.
