After the basic questions the conversation is as varied as the two individuals talking. This is why everyone says to be yourself-you can't practice this. Be friendly, outgoing, positive and genuine. Good luck!

The conversations are kind of vapid because the environment doesn't allow for much else. Your body language, attitude and being polite is most important. The advise of having something interesting to say that helps you be remembered in a positive way is no the mark.

A good conversation consists of outgoing interaction which lets your true personality shine through. Be confident but not snobby. Be authentic but not overly casual. I know these are vague answers but you can't practice this. You will either click or not and it is alright either way. You will feel comfortable when you meet a group with like values and goals.
