sorority reputations

Which sorority would be the best for a girl that does not want to party? I like the idea of going greek but at the same time I don't want to get sucked into the party scene.

You would probably like Theta or Gamma Phi best. However, like others have said, you can choose to stay in and study as a part of any house. It is nice to be with sisters with similar values though.

Theta, Chi O and Gamma Phi Beta have the highest GPA. See how you feel when you visit the houses but academic types like these chapters.

These houses are known for their focus on strong academics. Just stay away from heavy party houses and you will be fine.

Our most academic houses are Chi O Theta and Gamma Phi but all chapters do have socials. You would most likely fit best in one of these groups though.

Each sorority has a group of girls that do not go out much, even the ones with the party reputation. You can be in any house and not get sucked into the party scene. Gamma Phi, Theta, and Chi O all have girls that go out a lot-Kappa and Pi Phi have girls that typically stay in. Go for the house that you make the most connections with/feel most similar to on a day to day basis and not what they do at night. You can still be best friends with the girl that goes out every night even if you don't!

This is true advise. The houses with high GPAs do have more girls that put academics as a priority but you will be the one who decides whether you go out or not. No house focuses you to party.

You can study hard in any house but if you want like minded sisters think strongly about Chi O, Theta and Gamma Phi Beta. It is hard to stay in when everyone else is going out. All these girls go out too but are balanced.

Like everyone else I would say Theta, Chi O then G Phi. The house with the lowest GPA is Pi Phi. The houses that just party are KKG and DDD. All houses have girls that party and study though.
