by: cassy.5Which sorority would be the best for a girl that does not want to party? I like the idea of going greek but at the same time I don't want to get sucked into the party scene.

You would be a great fit for our academic houses: Chi O, Gamma Phi and Theta. Chi O and Gamma Phi are still social but encourage each other to focus on grades. Theta does not go out as much. Of course, you can choose to study as a member of any house but it is nice to be with like minded girls and these houses are very respected.

This list has not steered you wrong. Remember studying is your personal responsibility though so you can choose to focus on grades in any group.

These are the same houses I would suggest. They are our top GPA groups and although they are social too, there is much less emphasis on partying nightly.

A good answer. You dictate your success but these are the houses that will help push you up.

You can stay in and study as a member of any house. Chi O and Gamma Phi emphasize grades but still do enjoy being social without overdoing. Theta is normally first in grades and least likely to go out. There are exceptions in every house but these would be the ones that sound the most like what you are looking for.

This seems like a good answer given what I have seen about the houses. People forget that Alpha Chi Omega has been fourth most semesters. They have sweet girls too so if KAT, XO or GPB don't work out consider AXO!
