junior sorority recruit

Hey! I never thought I'd be posting on here, but I am transferring from a larger public school across the country. I am pretty nervous about switching to a university so different than my current one, but I was really hoping to rush?! I'll be a junior. Do you think I would have a shot at getting into any? Thanks!! :)

if being in a sorority is really something you want to do and is important to you, go for it! while you may not get a “top house”, you can definitely find somewhere you love. just let the girls know how much you really want to be in a sisterhood! good luck :)

TCU has a separate quota for each of the houses to take girls who are non freshmen so i feel like you have a great shot at getting into a house. Like the person said above some houses might discriminate about being a junior, but many houses have taken multiple juniors through formal recruitment and COB. If you want to, go for it!!

I went through as a junior and I feel like I did better than I would have if I were a freshman.

Why do you say that? I went through rush as a junior and didn't get dropped by those houses. The only one of those that dropped me was DDD and I probably would have been dropped by them as a freshman.
