It really depends on what the sororities minimum GPA requirement is. They will probably automatically cut you first round if its below theirs and it could play a factor in later cuts. Ideally, a 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) will put you in a relatively good space for all houses. Some want higher GPAs than others so the higher the better.
I think the lowest is like a 2.6 so if its below that, there is a chance you can get cut from all just because of GPA

I got in with a 2.4, but I went to a competitive high school, had great service recommendations and strong ACT/SAT scores. No, I didn't cheat on the SAT, but I know a lot of people who cheated to get high GPAs.

If you’re rushing as a freshman I would be surprised you got into TCU with a 2.6
