legacies and rec letters

100% get recommendation letters/ letters of support for all sororities! It is important to go in to recruitment with an open mind and you’ll have a better chance w every sorority if you have recs for every single one! Also for legacies- it depends on the sorority. Some they don’t honor, others it depends on how well you are liked, and others you will not get dropped if you are a legacy.

A lot of houses won't drop legacies after the first round, but no house guarantees you a spot just because you are a legacy. However, some houses, such as DG and Tri Delt, value legacies over other houses. Rec letters are not required, but they will be beneficial as it gives each house an idea of what you are like before you get to the house! Easier to make a good impression as they will also have you talk to girls with similar interests.
