When going through rush, you will notice 3 houses consistently stand out:

DDD
KKG
XO

If you have a brain, and have the option to go any of the three, you will. Each of them has weight in different areas, (i.e. looks, partying, campus involvement, grades, etc) and attracts different girls for different reasons, but the three always run together and recruit amazing pledge classes year after year. Lots of southern pull in these houses because they know how girls in texas and the south in general are raised, so i'd say 75% if not more of each is filled with southern women. The girls from each of these houses are fun, sweet, and cute each in their own way and are very easy to get along with and are driven young girls who will be extremely successful after college. All in all, receiving a bid from any of the 3 is an honor and automatically gives you connections for the rest of your life that you can use to your benefit.

Add Theta to the above list...always very highly ranked in Texas

These three are definitely most wanted in rush..theta is decent in texas with the exception of UT where they have a stronghold in the top. At tcu these 3 definitely are top

I'm so glad to see the alumna are on here in full force! Glad for the history lesson, but PNMs today should be encouraged to look at the houses for themselves and not be told what to think by housewives who had their time a quarter century ago.

Wow talk about having it completely wrong! No way Kappa is in the top 3! --- is DDD, ZTA, Chi O, Kappa,Piphi, Theta. You have to be on campus and involved in Greek life to understand the rankings. So all those who aren't on campus stop commenting you don't know what you are talking about!! pay attention to this post!

I'm just going to mention Gamma Phi. I'm in a sorority that also did very well in grades and I know how hard we worked. I'm not saying Gamma Phi is a top house yet, but wanted to congratulate them for being on track to get there someday. They've done an amazing job for only being at TCU for such a short time.

true - not a top house for sure but they have done very well and have passed up some others because they're so dedicated to doing well. I'd have to say congrats too.
