Delta Delta Delta. Kappa Kappa Gamma and Chi O prefer Texas girls but they all have exceptions to that rule. Give a real chance to all the houses and be yourself. You want to end up in a house where you feel the most connected. All the houses at TCU have something to offer. You are looking for sisters for life so never get caught up in the letters trap. Some houses do favor Texas girls but they all have out of state girls too. You want a house that wants you so if they hold your state against you it isn't a house you would want to join anyway.

All houses seem pretty fair so don't count any of them out.

Tri-Delt, Kappa and Chi O seem to favor Texas girls but the other houses seem open to out of state girls. Even the ones listed have girls from every state. It just might be a little harder with those.

Agree with the post above. First, there are girls from every state in all houses but it can be harder in these houses. Remember you are looking to make strong friendships for life. If a house makes you feel less welcome because of where you are from you don't want to be a member of that house anyway. You want to be appreciated for who you are.

there is definitely a disadvantage but you dont want to be with a group of girls that are that cliquey anyways

Put any preconceived ideas you have about all houses aside and go where are are wanted. If a house doesn't want you because of your home state their are plenty of others that are not so closed minded. These houses are where you will find you "TCU home".

Say you're from Virginia, not WDC if you live in the suburbs.

Agree that DDD, Kappa and Chi O are Texas heavy but they do have girls from other states. You don't want to be in a house that is so shallow they would hold your home state against you. It's the houses job to welcome you so be happy with the ones who will. Strong sisters will care about you for you not your home state.

All houses have girls from every state. However, DDD, XO and Kappa are less welcoming to out of state girls. Strong houses that have more northern girls are Zeta, Gamma Phi and Theta. I totally disagree with the post above that says to say you are from somewhere else. You want sisters that are not simple minded and want you for you. Be proud of your state and gravitate towards the houses that will care about the real you.
