too big??

by: Rushhh

Looking for honest opinions here, y’all won’t hurt my feelings. I am a “bigger girl” (size 14), largely due to a thyroid disorder I have. Is it even worth going through rush? I don’t want to feel like garbage about myself for a whole week and then be excluded

I am also taking part in rush and while I am a size 6 (but still feel like a whale) having spoken with actives and other PNMs I truly believe TCU has a house for every girl as long as we PNM's maintain an open mind.

Oh and also if sororities are truly looking for future sisters who will mesh with the group and be an asset then it should not matter what size you are, it's 2018, we're all beautiful! Y'all can say I'm being unrealistic for believing it, but with 13 houses i truly believe we can all find a place with an open mind, especially from what i've read here

Please go through recruitment. We can’t all be tiny and blonde. More important: you can make others feel relaxed in a conversation, you are enthusiastic, can make good grades while supporting your chapter.

Definetly go through! You might not feel at home in some houses, i am intimidated by some houses and I’m a size 4. But there is definetly multiple house that don’t consider appearances and you will probably find a house you will love and it will be so worth it!

If you keep an open mind, you will find a home. There will be some who will cut you for your size, but others who won't care. You wouldn't want to be in a house full of girls who'd cut you for that anyway right? Good luck,
