nursing major
by: ribbitIs their a certain sorority that a lot of nursing majors join?

#13by: I'd say
All the nursing majors I know are either Thetas or Gamma Phis. That isn't meant to imply that those are the only two houses with many, but that's my experience. Of those two houses, Gamma Phi is a little more active in other campus activities than Theta, but they're both excellent houses.

One of the most demanding majors at TCU and potential employers notice when you studied here. So, go with the houses that are most successful in this field and let your sisters show you the ropes. Gamma Phi Beta or Theta will serve you well. All houses have nursing majors but they have the most and lots of smart girls too.

I am currently a nursing major. It is TOUGH so you have to be willing to put the hours into your studies to succeed. I've had girls from Chi O, Theta, Zeta along with a lot of my Gamma Phi sisters in my classes. As you move up in years you will find that we all love our soroity but we also bond as Nursing majors. It becomes more real world were you connect with like minded people and the labels are less important. If you choose TCU Nursing you will be chooses an amazing major and will be friends with people from most houses. It's a great choice.

Nursing is a real hard program here. A real respected program. You will find a sprinkling of girls from the majority if not all houses. Stick to the ones that encourage study hours and a high GPA. Those are Chi Omega, Gamma Phi Beta and Theta. All good houses for girls who want to push their academics.
