Nursing is such a difficult but excellent program at TCU that you would be smart to choose a house that doesnt party every day.Chi-O, Gamma Phi and Theta are top in grades. I've heard Chi-O doesn't often choose Nursing Majors because its tough to make a 4.0 in Nursing. I am a Nursing Major and have a lot of sisters in Gamma Phi that are too. We often study together and have classes together. We have such a strong sisterhood. Welcome to TCU! Hope you will keep us in mind during rush.

I'm also a nursing major and see pretty much every sorority in all my nursing classes. There are a lot of Gamma Phis like the person above said and I feel like I'm surrounded by Thetas too... but I really think it's safe to say that every sorority has a good handful of them. Good luck next year!

Welcome to TCU! You have chosen a great school and one of our most respected majors. I too am in Gamma Phi and have been so grateful for my older sisters who were always willing to help me out and for the study groups formed with my first year sisters. I did meet friends from several houses in my classes but I honestly believe you will find the most sisters from Gamma Phi or Theta in A&P etc.

I'm a nursing major and there seems to be a lot of Thetas, Tri Delts, and A Chi Os in the program. But just because one sorority is know for partying, doesn't mean you can't make good grades while being a part of that sorority. No one is going to force you to party if you don't want to

As a nursing major my advise would be to go with a house that puts more emphasis on academics. Yes, all houses probably have a sprinkling of nursing majors but it isn't fun to be left to study alone. Our top houses in academics are Theta, Chi O and Gamma Phi. All of these are strong, respected houses that will support you. Theta is the least social of the three.

You will be wise to stick with our academic houses-Theta, Chi-O and Gamma Phi. Most houses how a few nursing majors but take advantage of studying with your sisters before you go out. You won't go wrong with any of these strong houses. Nursing will challenge you but it is one our most highly acclaimed programs.

Absolutely all houses have nursing majors since it’s such a school of study but GPB or KAT would be a perfect fit
