squatting to eliminate is healthier
by: FYIIt is so much healthier to squat when you go number 2. I'm hoping the Greek Housing will build squatting toilets. If not, I'm going to have to stand on the toilet to squat. I do it in the dorms, and I really just wish I could have a proper toilet.

I actually tried it today. First I went, and I still felt bloated. So then I squatted and it was amazing how much more came out and how easily it came out. My stomach felt instantly flatter. It was so cool. I'm hooked. The problem is , that squatting isn't easy to do. I did it today, because I was able to get some privacy in the dorm bathroom. Usually I don't have that. I'm starting to really want to get my own apartment so I can squat in peace.

You can just stand on the toilet and squat to get a flat stomach. I do it even when I'm drunk.

This is so much healthier all the way around. I'm really hoping that the builders will do the right thing and build appropriate squatting toilets.

I have IBS. It is no joke. I have had it since I was 12. You have no idea how much stress and anxiety I have about going to the bathroom. It is painful, scary, and sometimes humiliating. In school I was granted permission to use the adult single stall bathroom, because my situation can be so bad. Sometimes the ONLY was I can go is if I squat. Believe me, I wish it weren't the way it is, but it is. I don't tell many people about it, but squatting makes a very painful and scary situation just a little bit better. I know I am not alone. I wish we could talk more about it. I almost didn't go through recruitment because I was so nervous about it. Please show some empathy for those of us who want to go in peace and are a little different.

Nobody cares about health. They just care about the southern way and that does not include squatting.

People who are not used to squat toilets, as well as overweight people, people with disabilities, and elderly people tend to find squatting as a defecation posture difficult, and may therefore prefer sitting
