chi omega disappointment

I am a legacy to TCU XO and wanted to follow that path. I was given every signal that I was going to get a bid but was cut at the end. I have heard others telling this situation happened to them. This has definitely lowered by opinion of them.

At least now you know the feeling of a lowered opinion was mutual. Your Chi Omega link should have gently explained to you the probability of being cut before you began recruitment.

NO NPC GROUP has guaranteed placement for legacies. NOT ONE.

I am positive many pnm women who are not legacies to any group experienced signals and feelings of great acceptance by their pref groups, and were similarly disappointed. You are not alone.

You did not indicate whether you now have a bid in another home, but if you do please make the most of it and enjoy a lifetime of sisterhood where you know you are wanted and needed.

No legacy is a guarantee and no verbal encouragement is either. I hope you found a chapter that welcomed you and that you will make the best of it.

Chi O just has way too many legacies to take them all. No need to hate on them. Too many girls list them first for them to be able to take them all.

There is no reason to disappointed because they just have tons of legacies and tons of PNMS listed them first so real good candidates have to be released so it isn't personal

Chi Omega is consistently a top choice and therefore has to make tough cut decisions. Do not take it personally they just have too many good candidates to take them all.

It is understandable that you are. Disappointed but it isn't personal and there has to be a inside connection to pull for you because so many pnms list them.
