gamma phi: how hard to get in?

Gamma Phi looks for a well rounded member with interest in leadership, academics, sisterhood who socially minded. No preselection just tons of competition.

A top class house for sure it can be difficult to get a bid. They look closely at academics and leadership among their recruits. They do not pre recruit though. If you are a strong candidate you have a chance.

They are bottom. One above ADPi

We definitely don't preselect. You're on an even playing field like someone above mentioned. We base votes on conversation (at least 85%), GPA/involvement, and rec letters. If you are a legacy, you are guaranteed to make it to philanthropy round (like many other sororities) but thats it. We also do grade cuts from the first to second round but if we really like you the first round and you have a low GPA you can still possibly get a bid. I don't know the details but we were even more selective this yr, did well with our return rates and we are above quota. Basically, we just look for sweet, smart, and involved sisters :)

This is a competitive house to get a bid from but they do not dirty rush. All the girls I've talked to found them welcoming and engaging.

Gamma P is a strong and desirable chapter for high achieving women. They do screen applications during the summer as all houses do but they do not recruit until recruitment. This chapter is first class in all areas including giving a fair shot to membership.
