first of all, PNMs always think they know everything about every house even though they actually know nothing about any of the houses at TCU. PNM talk during recruitment week is 90% BS.
as for theta, it is a top house for some girls but it not others. it depends on what youre looking for in a house. to some, it's the ideal sorority and to others it's their worst nightmare. theta is perfect and a truly wonderful chapter for a certain type of girl so maybe some girls were disappointed that it ended up being different than they wanted/expected.

When I went through recruitment (I'm a senior now) I did not like theta. However, just because I did not feel a match there doesn't mean that everyone else felt the same as me. Just like everyone else did not feel a match in the sorority I am a member of. Just because you feel a certain way does not mean that everyone feels that way. People talk when they are nervous so don't listen to anyone.

Every year houses change. Reputations change, pledge classes change etc. That is why you should pledge the house that YOU are most comfortable in.

Which houses did you connect w then?

If you don't like theta then don't join them. they probably didn't like you either.

Please stop trying to move up the ranks ADPI by hating on houses that are better than you and ranked better than you on here.

No house is the perfect fit for every pnm but Theta is always a highly wanted house and they get quality members. Hopefully you found a better fit for you and are happy where you ended up.

Theta is always at the top academically, some classes are just more social than others and maybe you just didn't find the right match or balance with this year's group. Hopefully you found a great fit somewhere else! There's nothing wrong with any of the houses, including Theta!

Most girls love KAT but if you are mainly focused on partying there would be better fits. I hope you found what matched you.
