here's the truth, no matter what rankings you read on this site, or how much gphi wants to self rank themselves:
the top 5 at TCU are chi o, pi phi, dg, kappa, and tri delt.
that's it.
and this message is going to get a ton of dislikes from all of the gphis, but this is the TRUTH, and everyone knows it. this doesn't mean that the other chapters aren't important and aren't involved, etc. they are. it's just that these 5 are the TOP 5 at TCU.
you'll see during recruitment.

Some are party houses some more leadership because in 2017 you can choose what you want to put your energy in to. One style isn't better they are just different.

You can't stand that a newer sorority has eclipsed so many of the sinking old ones. Bye kkg, tri delt piphi.
The true tops are Theta, chi o, Zeta and gamma phi. Anyone who says differently is some elderly alum living in 1980.

Of all the houses to hate on Gamma Phi or Theta are not the ones. Their members are intelligent, kind, classy and are in leadership position everywhere like Chi Omega. True they aren't huge with the drinking scene but back off. I'm not even in these houses and I know people respect them way more than some of the ones in the original post.

IKR? Of all the houses to abuse, Theta and GPhi are not those girls. They're houses full of classy, nice, involved and smart sisters who are clearly top tier without a bad attitude. No one who actually goes here right now can dispute that, unless they're still upset they got dropped by them or something. I don't know who this crazy person who keeps coming on here and trying to put the most preposterous houses on top, but it will be clear to PNMs once they get here what kind of crazy pills that person is taking! 😜

People need to grow up and realize different people value different things. You listed the hard party houses and Chi O. Sorry, they are not the top five for members looking for leadership, academics, sisterhood. Chi Omega, Theta, Zeta and Gamma Phi in that order meet the top for those looking for more than a party house. Why don't you just allow people to choose what matters to them...In the end what house you are end hopefully will be the top heart in your mind. Ranks never work for this reason.

I've never understood why people pick a sorority based on academics. Yes, you want to be surrounded by smart women-but at TCU, the majority of us are intelligent. I get being drawn to leadership and sisterhood, but why pick a house based on their average GPA?
Isn't your personal GPA based on how well YOU perform academically? Your sorority really doesn't influence, it's all your own success/failure.
So why do people discuss it so much on this site?

Your statement is a perfect example of why tiers do not work. Can't you personally party hard even if you are not in a house that values getting wasted above all else? We are not in high school. Grow up and let people value what they value. All chapters here are excellent and above most on other campus so stop hating on women with different core interest.

Coming from a guy this is 100% accurate. Its pretty common knowledge around campus that these are the 5 top and most influential houses. Ya ya blah blah gphi has gotten better since they started here but are nowhere near a top house like the self rankers on here claim. These 5 houses are the most well known around campus, most sought after by those going through the rush process, and are the houses that men desire to hang out with the most. Every sorority has something different to offer and although gphi or other houses may have advantages over other houses in certain categories, doesn't change the fact that they are not a top house.

What kind of real "guy" 100% gets in a fight about sorority girls. This is probably the same sad girl re-posting to herself over and over. IF you go here you know ALL our houses are good and I don't believe we argue with each other over it. This entire thread is pitiful and immature. I'm agreeing with the post above about you making us all look foolish.

Absolutely obvious a old house that had dropped is trying to fool people in to thinking they are still on top!!!!! Pi Phi, Kappa and Tri Delt have NOT been top five for a LONG time. DG is a NEW risen house. The ONLY top 5 listed that has been and is top 5 is Chi Omega!!!
