gamma phi beta

by:

I'm a legacy but my mom was a Gamma Phi at another school. I'm going to be a freshman next year and plan to go through recruitment. I realize I'll learn more about the different groups then but just kind of want to hear people's opinions ahead of time. If they're not a great group I may want to start telling my mom that I might not be a Gamma Phi. Be honest and tell me what you think.

I'm not a gamma phi but the girls i know who are absolutely LOVE it! based on what i've seen, they seem to have one of the best houses for great sisterhood on campus and they have a lot of other great things about their chapter. You'll probably just have to wait till rush to se if it's the right fit--there are a lot of great chapters at tcu but it all depends on what you, personally, are looking for

I don't know any very well, but just by looking on greekrank, they seem to get really high ratings but then get made fun of and accused of ranking themselves. I also would like to know what the real story is.

lots of really fun nice girls. doesn't really have one stereotype, lots of different kinds of girls. Solid academically and philanthropically.

GPB has risen quickly in the short time they have been at TCU. They are a strong academic house and have members in many leadership roles. Their members have been President of the Panhellinic Council, Miss Greek TCU, Student Council Excecutive Officers, Equestians, Frog Camp Councilors, Leadership Program Grads, Miss TCU Finalists, models, show choir founders, dance team leaders...They came before AOPI and Phi Mu so some of the older house haven't been happy with the quick rise. They are known for strong sisterhood, inclusion and high personal standards. They are not the biggest party house so if that is your focus look at Kappa, Delta Gamma or Zeta. Every campus and every few years ALL houses change with members coming and going. Gamma Phi is an excellent house at TCU. Good luck during recruitment no matter where you end up.

Classy, intelligent and attractive girls that are going places. If you want a girl to take home GBP, Theta and Chi O are the houses to check

I have several GPB friends and they are super sweet and seem to love their house. If you are look at the girls that are involved a lot on campus, there are a lot of GP girls. They are a lot like Theta but newer.

I was also a gphi legacy and at first I thought I wanted to not join my legacy house and the only reason being that I wanted to branch out and be my own person but I absolutely loved gamma phi and now I am one! I would go through recruitment w/ an open mind and form your own opinion bc thats all that matters :) see ya in the fall

Why would they discriminate against an attractive girl? That doesn't make sense. Besides I've seen lots of attractive girls that are GPs!
