fraternity rush

I've been accepted to the TCU class of 2021 and I am going to attend. I was looking to rush a fraternity at TCU. The problem is I do not know anything about the rushing process at TCU. The only thing I know is that the fraternities mostly choose who they will accept into the fraternity before formal rush starts. To avoid being left out of all that, could any of you give me some advice on how to connect to fraternities at TCU.

sign up for ifc recruitment early. that's how chapters get your information and in contact with you. if you're from texas (near FW), you can drive to tcu and go to the rush events that are early in the summer. if you're not then you go to a rush event that a lot of chapters will have during whatever orientation or frog camp you go to. the 2 weeks or so before school starts is when rush really picks up and the height of informal rush with events almost every night.

nobody goes to TCU by choice, but I like it so far.

So how much of a disadvantage is it to come from out of state?

Doesn't matter. Even the texas houses take some out of state guys
