friends in other houses?

by: ?

At TCU, do most people have friends in other houses? Is it easy to make friends in other houses? Is there a certain residence hall that sorority girls usually stay in?

Absolutely, you will end up with friends from other houses. This is especially true as you become an upperclassman and you bond with others pursuing your major. As a Senior, I can honestly tell you I have friends in all houses. Your chapter is most important your freshman year with helping you get plugged in and making close friends you keep all four years BUT you will branch out.

There are some groups I like better than others but not one that has no girls I can't get along with.

You probably won't have that many friends in other houses. There are people who you might be friendly with, But friends not really.

You do not get to chose your residence hall. You are assigned by housing.

You will get to be friends with like minded girls in other houses as you get to know your classmates. No matter what this site makes you think there r every kind of girl n every house.

At initiation you must vow to never have a single friend outside of your own sorority.

You will meet girls from all houses. It's up to you whether you can become friends. If you are personable and open to a larger group of friends, you will make them.

As you become more familiar with the campus and your classmates you will expand your friends outside of your soroiety. Your house will usually contain your core friends but I don't know anyone who doesn't have friends from all over. Get involved and you will meet tons of people. Our school is still small enough to see people you know everywhere you go.

Your house should be a supportive group that helps introduce you around and gets you involved so they are your sisters but they also help you meet people outside your house too
