Is it hard to get any bid? No, not at all.
Is it hard to get a bid to certain houses? Yes.
Legacy can get you a second round invite but it is up to you to impress the members in that chapter. Many houses at TCU, especially the ones that are big in Texas, have more legacies coming through than there will be total spots in the new member class. So, not all legacies will get a bid to their legacy chapter.

We have close to 1000 girls go through recruitment each year, our campus has been voted as one of the most attractive student populations by numerous national studies, you need lots of money to pay to go here. Yes, recruitment has tons of completion at TCU. That said, girls successfully do it every year. Just do not show up thinking you are only going to except a certain house. Legacy or not you are much more likely not to get that house than you think. You need to be outgoing, friendly and respectful to every group.
