Do NOT make any decisions based on this site, where everyone is rude and much of it is bs. Phi Mu has the potential to be great, but not without work. Make sure your sisters are engaged, involved, and carry the letters with class. You have a unique opportunity, but with any sorority it will be what you make of it. Congrats and welcome to the Greek community.

Those who come on here to say nasty things about every house that's not their own feel threatened by competition. This includes any new chapter that comes on; if the new house were a different sorority then the same things would still be said. Love your new sorority and screw anyone who tries to denigrate what is likely to be one of the most amazing and influential experiences of your life. Pan love everybody - focus on your own membership instead of slamming someone else's.

Why are there so many mean and shallow people at this school? I will never understand it.

Look around at your pledge class. There are some great girls there. If you find some that you would be friends with then don't worry about what is on this site. Remember most of the people that type here are insecure and feel threatened by the strong class that Phi Mu got.

Best advice? Stay off this lame site and enjoy being greek at TCU.

Strong class? It's a freaking house of horrors full of people no one else wanted. You alums need to get off this site. You're looking pathetic and desperate. We've all seen those new members and no amount of bs you put on here will change how scary everyone sees they are.

You start off your colony experience by coming on this of all sites to express your, 'doubt'? Talk to the colony reps about your concerns, not a bunch of anonymous someone-ones.

I actually disagreeee. I don't think talking to reps, rho gammas etc is a good idea. They are all big mouthes. That said, you aren't going to get great advice here either.

I will give my advice: I believe that Phi Mu can do well here. Phi Mu is generally strong in the Southern Region and they seem to have strong alumni. But if you are looking to be in a house that is well established, then they probably aren't the house for you.

.....................................You lost me at the part where I said Im being doubtful b/c I myself was content with my bid. I have no opinions on anything other than the fact that I said "why not try it" What I was just trying to say is why people already have a negative attitude towards something that's in the process of getting on the map. Idk, I was just slightly appalled at how mean ppl here are, that was all.

With strong alumni support, strong leaders and active members Phi Mu can certain;y succeed. As a member of the first members you can help set traditions and direction this chapter will take. It is a rare opportunity that has unique challenges like those that bully the new house but lots of positives and real power to help make the groups reputation and future course. Wishing you all a great first year.

So who has the largest average weight, them or AOPi? Might need to get some truck scales to determine that.

I hope you are not as nasty as your comments would suggest. There are girls of all body types in every house. Pretending that they're all in the new colony is just beyond hateful.
