I absolutely LOVED one particular sorority that will remain nameless. They dropped me going into pref and I'm still heartbroken about it. I don't understand why. I really like the sorority I'm in. But I saw a group from that other sorority today, and I actually went into the bathroom and cried. I'm trying to keep my chin up, and go where I'm wanted.

I hope you're feeling better. If not, you might want to talk to someone about depression. Beginning college is a stressful time and tbh you sound like you were kind of pushed over the edge. It's common, so don't try to tough it out on your own when help can easily be obtained. :)

I loved Gamma Phi Beta and Theta. The girls were welcoming and you could tell they were quality girls. There were no houses where I felt unwelcome but I was least comfortable in the Tri Delt house. I could not hold a conversation with the girls I was matched with.

Honestly, there usually isn't a why. Now that you're on the other side, you'll see how it is next year. It's not that people didn't want you, they just thought other PNMs would be a better fit. We have to make cuts and cut a lot of girls we really love. Please try to not take it personally! Learn to love the girls that saw something in you that would make you a wonderful sister!
