pref night

I have a friend that goes to Tech and she advised me not to wear a black dress on Pref night. Is that true at TCU?

You can wear whatever you want as long as your outfit is dressy for pref. If you're at pref were not gonna judge you based on your dress color. We already like you !

I actually wore the same color as my sororitys color. It was kinda funny

If you have gotten to pref the sorority does want you. But getting on the first list is your challenge. If you have a great black dress then wear it. It isn't that big of a deal. But if you have a different color that is just as cute, I would wear the color. Just to help yourself stand out.

You could wear one of those whip cream dresses like in Varsity Blues.

Most people choose not to wear black on pref night. I was advised not to and didn't. That said, no group is going to drop you because of your dress color one round. Often, the actives wear black (not always) so a PNM wearing black may feel awkward.
