is it okay if we wear nice wedges instead of heels on pref day?

Pref is dressy. Heels are dressy. Wedges are not dressy, even nice ones. There's an exception to every rule but without seeing the outfit that's the general guideline.

No one's going to not give you a bid because you wore wedges to pref. Please ignore that mean and rude person above me. As long as they are cute and dressy and go with your outfit you will be fine. Wear what you love! I mean would you really want to be sisters with girls who would be so petty as to not want to bid you because of a pair of shoes?

My comment is not mean and rude, it is an honest answer to an honest question. She asked, I answered - if a girl wants to look her dressy best then it's heels and not wedges. If you've got a choice between the two, I stand by my answer, and I'm not the only one. Those who are taking offense at this need to calm the hell down - it is not a judgement of anyone's personal style choice or an insult to their character, and I did not say anything about a pair of shoes preventing a girl from getting a bid. Y'all are reading waaay too much into my answer. I know that we are all getting super keyed up and stressed now, so just take a deep breath, okay?

No one's going to judge you for your shoes at preference unless there's something real weird about them. Relax. If you've made it to preference, the sorority is very interested in you!
