Many of the videos show people running and wearing cutoffs and cowboy boots with the t-shirts. Should I bring cutoffs and cowboy boots for bid-day?

do not wear either during rush. wearing them on bid day is fine but you don't have to lots of people wear converse or sandals instead

Yeah only wear them on bid day if that's your style. Don't try to be something you're not. You'll see all kinds of looks.

For sure do not wear them at all during rush.

You will be asked to wear a plain white TShirt and shorts to the BLUE to receive your bid. When you open your bid cards, you will be given a TShirt for your new house. A lot of girls do wear cut offs and boots this day but it isn't a requirement. Any type of shorts and flat shoes will do. Just wear something you can run in.
