humid or dry heat?

Is the heat in August dry it or humid? My hair doesn't do well in humid climate and I'm debating on investing in anti humidity spray for my hair. However I'm from out of state and I don't know what to expect.

To me it is HOT with humidity but not nearly as damp as say places on the coast. I'd buy the spray to be on the safe side.

Personally I think it's a dry heat but setting spray is s good idea
