There is a definite hierarchy and that is reflected in how you are seen and which frats will socialize with you. But do go in with an open mind. Almost everyone going through recruitment has looks, grades and a resume at least as good as yours. Just because you were queen of your high school doesn't mean you will have the same success in college and belong in the top tier houses. When you see your invite list for the first time you will likely be horrified because it tell you that you aren't as great as you think you are. Accept the fact that some sororities won't want you no matter what and concentrate on and keep an open mind on those who do. They will be your only chance at being greek.
