Do rushers ever meet at Starbucks before parties, or go out at night?

Honey, no. You clearly don't understand this process and what it's going to be like for you.

I was just thinking that maybe girls go to a coffee shop afterward to unwind. So we just sit in the dorm?

Why can't girls going through rush go to a fraternity party if we have a high school friend who invites us? Will we get thrown out of rush for going? I Know a bunch of guys in different fraternities so I might get invited. Would I be in some sort of trouble?

So now I'm really confused. We can't leave? What if we need to run to the store at night to pick up an Aspirin or something? I'm honestly confused.

Not allowed to "go out" means you are not allowed to attend parties at night if you are going through rush, not that you are a prisoner in your dorm. As far as going somewhere to "unwind" after or meeting in the morning before rounds, you are not going to feel like it, trust us. Rush goes from morning until evening. You will be tired, your brain will be swimming with new information and impressions, you will have had enough of being around groups of girls and be entirely chatted out. You will just want to shower and put on comfy clothes and just hang out with your feet up. Plus, you will have just moved into your dorm and will have stuff to do. You are now on your own and will still be trying to figure out a lot of things related to that. This is a really, really busy, tiring week to get through but it's all good.

So if a person goes out to buy personal products, or makes an early morning Starbuck's run, they won't get in trouble? I just want to be sure. I don't want to accidentally get thrown out. I have no plans to go out drinking or to a party or anything like that.

YES: go to BLUU or chick fil a for food, run to nearby restaurant or book store, go to Target, grocery or similar

NO: fraternity or house party.

The point earlier people were trying to make is that you will be mentally and physically exhausted so will likely spend most of your time in your dorm. But, you are not held prisoner. You will likely prefer to grab dinner then relax.
