Why not do like I did and invest in gorgeous neutral sandals. This is Texas they will last you a long time and you won't need to change. Also only take a days worth of supplies. You obviously don't need sleep meds during the day. I had a cross body mini leather bag that had: Band-Aids, advils, BATTERY fan, sun glasses, blotting papers, mints, travel size deoderant and lip gloss. I felt so bad for the girls lugging around so much stuff

Bring all the above along with a smile. You will be exhausted and don't think about this but a frown can make people think you aren't interested and get you cut. Body language is important.
