Every day of recruitment will be hot, hectic and emotional. Everyone is allowed to bring a bag with essentials to get you through the day. What things did you bring that helped you?

I brought flats to wear between houses, a hand held fan, a small mirror and make up to touch up while we waited in the fraternity houses and a bottle of water. Other people had blotting sheets which was a great idea. Good luck to everyone.

Fan , flats, blotters and water are a must! A handful of girls seem to pass out each year from dehydration.

All of these items will make your recruitment easier but also bring Advil and Benedryl. The first for the headache and aches you can get from standing all day in a stressful situation and the second to help you sleep with all the day's events still swirling in your head.

It's not creepy. Recruitment means long days in the hot sun. You want to make your best impression and feel your best even under these less than ideal circumstances. Feel free not to wear makeup if that's you. But you'll feel a helluva lot better if you bring some flipflops, water and a mini fan.

All the above plus anything you would need to stay fresh and calm in 100 degree weather if you aren't from Texas it will be shocking

Anything to stay fresh in tremendous heat. I would encourage people to avoid strong perfumes though. These can get overwhelming when they all combine in a cramped house.

I brought face blotters and a small makeup kit, breath mints, flip flops for quick changes-check you can stand in your shoes all day because it's a long week if you get blisters, light body spray, water bottle filled with ice and a hand held fan
