who is eligible?

If I were to get a rec letter to "alpha alpha alpha" obviously the person would have to be a member, but can they be in college at a different chapter or do they have to be an alum out of college?

Each sorority has different rules about who is eligible to write recs. I think a few houses allow initiated collegians at other schools to write recs, but not many. Your friend should be able to check with her sorority's national website to see if she is eligible to write one for you.

The majority of soroiety chapters do allow active members to write for you too.
