is lilly essential to recruitment?

by:

I'm a PNM from STL. Obviously, Lilly is a big deal in southern sororities. For recruitment, the pref round in particular, will I not fit in if I don't have a Lilly dress and other attire?

Do NOT wear anything from Stella and Dot or anything else that is sold in anything multi-level marketing.

People will have Lily and Kendra Scott no matter what someone posts on here BUT I do agree that you want to dress like the best version of you. Do not buy things you aren't authentic in. Just choose classic styles that make you feel confident and you will be fine. Labels can be important to some people but sharp dressed stands out way more.

Authentic is so the way to go. If you need help being authentic, just google hipster barbie. She does authentic way better than anyone.

There will most likely still be a lot of Lily P but it a bit dated. Keep your fashion classic with touches of personalization. Make sure clothes fit you are the best cut for your figure. Tori Burch, Kate Spade, Kendra will all be on display but are not a requirement. Wearing low cut or other tacky clothes will not go over well. You are meeting possible "sisters" not trolling a club

What if someone has an awesome thigh gap? Should they show it off? Or cover it?
