rushing as a transfer sophomore
by: sophomorerusheeI will be transferring to TCU as a sophomore this fall and I will be participating in recruitment. I have friends from other universities that have briefed me a little bit about the rush process, but I have some TCU specific questions. How does TCU handle sophomores during recruitment? Also which houses will be the most concerned about high grades and keeping up academics? I feel like I'm relying on my grades to get me through recruitment.

Being a transfer sophomore isn't a big deal. If you're not a beast and keep an open mind you should get a bid.
Grades are important to almost everyone but won't help you if you don't really fit into a house otherwise. GPhi, Theta and AXO are usually the most difficult when it comes to GPA but just having a high GPA won't be enough.
