stay or go

I was in the same position as you. Did not like my pc (or the house) at all and came so close to dropping, but I was told by multiple people it is so much harder to rush again and get a house you want once you've gone through majority of the pledging so it was my best bet to stay in. I decided to stay in and I am still pretty unhappy (mostly cause I wanted a different house but they cut me after round 3) but i'm optimistic that it's going to get better!

For some people it takes longer. I'd suggest that you get really involved. That will help you break the ice with the the girls in your class.

I don't mean to be rude, but how hard have you really tried to get to know the girls in your new PC? I'm not saying you're wrong for being apprehensive, but I'd try inviting one of the girls you get along with better out for lunch one day or if a girl in your PC is in one of your classes, maybe you could do a study session together at the library for finals or an exam you have coming up. I'm not trying to sound lame, but sometimes putting forth effort to get to know other people outside of new member events can help a little bit.

Gonna guess that you're in DG because I've heard they use the term "membership class" instead of PC.
